Symo says: Hmm… I’ve got to live here, so I’ll just keep my opinion to myself 🙂 on this one. I will say that Ecuadorian drivers have zero, none, nada, nunca, concept of 3 dimensional space. Watching them from my apartment window, attempt to back into a parking space is just funnier than can be and worth the price of admission alone!

Symo says: Interesting article and some sound advice, except for the second sentence… the diversification part of it is OK (to a point), but my No. 1 investing mistake before working with a financial adviser was deciding to work with financial adviser(s)… 4 of them. There is only ONE person that gives two shits about your money… YOU. There is this “www” thing out there. If you can’t find basic investing strategies that appeal to your style, then the problem is you and not how you invest.

The Federal Reserve may be talking too much these days. Mixed messages from Fed officials run the risk of overloading investors with too much information and leaving them confused about what’s next.
Symo says: It’s time for a Fed Chairperson who has some balls. Why does Janet Yellen allow these regional guys to say anything, at anytime to anyone. She needs to instruct the board that they are to keep their mouths shut and attend to business.
